Sam Henry Ballyclare Project
After serving 26 years in prison, Sam Henry returned home to Ballyclare and has been working to engage isolated young people in his area who feel cut off from their communities.
Through his contact with ESC, Sam left HMP Maghaberry with self-belief and the knowledge that understanding his own story enables him to make more positive choices and move on.

ESC works with 12-15 15 to 18-year olds in Ballyclare who are isolated and experiencing difficult issues. Our aim is to reconnect them with their community and to help them increase their self-esteem and to work collectively and individually by making a short film about their story.

Carlisle House Service User's Group

ESC is working with Carlisle House Service Users’ Group, made up of current and past residents, to make a series of short films depicting the struggles and effects of addiction both for the individual and the community.
The project will culminate in a public screening for an audience selected and agreed by the participants.

A video of the work in progress will shortly be available. If you want to find out more about the project, contact us at info@esc-film.com.
